Hector Macho Camacho
According to a report by El Nuevo Herald, former world champion boxer Hector “Macho” Camacho was shot in San Juan, Puerto Rico and is currently in critical condition at a local hospital.
Camacho, 50, was reportedly shot in the neck and face. According to the report, Camacho’s chances for survival are minimal.
Camacho was seated in the passenger seat of a Ford
Mustang when a person in a second vehicle opened fire, killing Mustang
driver Alberto Mojica and severely injuring Camacho.
According to a report on Spanish-language web site
Primerahora.com, one of the suspects in the attack was arrested at
approximately 9 p.m. local time.
Camacho is a three-time world champion and native of Bayamon, Puerto Rico.
